About the role
Canexpress Flatbed Ltd is seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our Winnipeg team. You will operate straight or articulated flatbed trucks, delivering goods safely while optimizing routes and fuel efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and adjust routes using GPS and navigation tools to minimize fuel consumption and emissions.
- Perform mountain driving with expertise.
- Load, unload, and secure cargo, including tarping.
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks for goods transport.
- Conduct brake adjustments and preventive maintenance.
- Record cargo details, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel usage.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- Air Brakes Endorsement.
- Valid Class 1 (or A) driver’s licence.
- Willingness to train and work flexible hours.
