Truck Dispatcher

About the role

We are seeking a Truck Dispatcher to join our team at Highway Motor Freight Ltd. in Winnipeg. The role involves coordinating truck movements, maintaining detailed records, and ensuring compliance with cross‑border regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate work records, logs, mileage, fuel usage, repairs, and other expenses.
• Perform general office duties including handling electronic mail and documentation.
• Dispatch drivers and trucks according to schedules, work orders, and cross‑border regulations.
• Track shipments in real time and ensure timely delivery.
• Record and monitor mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with highway trucking rules and cross‑border dispatching practices.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation (high school diploma) or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Efficient interpersonal skills, organized, and reliable.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and manage multiple dispatches simultaneously.
• No prior experience required; training will be provided.
