Treasury Analyst

About the role

Join EQ's Treasury team to manage data, support hedge accounting, asset pricing models, and collateral processes for a leading Canadian bank. You will work closely with finance and business units to ensure accurate risk reporting and financial statements.

Key responsibilities

• Support hedge accounting activities, including strategy development, model creation, pre‑trade analysis, and post‑trade documentation.
• Maintain and enhance asset pricing models for mortgage and commercial loan products, manage assumption updates, and oversee application migrations.
• Monitor derivative portfolio valuations, validate margin calls, automate data extraction, and manage collateral reporting with internal and regulatory stakeholders.
• Prepare data for ALCO, board, and quarter‑end reporting, and provide ad‑hoc analysis for OSFI and management reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance engineering, mathematics, computer science or a related discipline.
• At least one year of experience working with financial models, preferably with development responsibilities.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities.
