Transportation Manager

About the role

As Transportation Manager at Sky Fusion, you will lead Canada’s transportation, pricing and operational delivery. You will devise and implement country strategies aligned with global and regional targets, manage market expansion, risk, sales pipelines and cross‑team cooperation to drive growth while building high‑performance teams for sustainable operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the country business opportunity in line with global objectives and regional priorities.
• Create and manage a national business development plan, drive pipeline creation, set commercial targets and ensure disciplined forecasting.
• Lead business acquisition activities, support account management and expand existing client relationships.
• Oversee the full business development process including sales, tender analysis, solution design, costing, pricing and service offering.
• Evaluate and adapt global Road Logistics products to local market requirements.
• Ensure operations deliver the highest quality and profitability, working with cross‑functional teams to support tendering, pricing and contract negotiations.
• Maintain efficient Road Logistics operations, pricing and implementation while complying with relevant transport regulations.
• Build, develop and lead a high‑performing local team, define organisational structure and implement hiring and onboarding plans.
• Translate strategy into clear market entry and growth plans, monitor market and competitor dynamics, regulatory changes and customer needs.
• Maintain strong relationships with key customers, pursue new major accounts and oversee field sales activities.
• Establish and maintain carrier relationships to ensure optimal financial results.
