Transportation, Customs & Control Tower Manager

About the role

Holt Renfrew is seeking a seasoned professional to lead its Transportation, Customs & Control Tower function across Canada. The manager will act as the internal expert on customs compliance and carrier strategy, ensuring seamless cross‑border and domestic movement of luxury goods.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee national customs operations, ensuring compliance with Canadian regulations, CSA program requirements, and free‑trade agreements.
• Manage audits, duty drawback opportunities, and regular compliance sweeps.
• Develop and execute the national transportation strategy across all modes, governing carrier relationships and service levels.
• Collaborate with Sales, Planning, Buying, Finance, and Store Operations to align capacity, documentation, and issue resolution.
• Drive AI‑based automation and process improvements in customs and transportation workflows.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in customs, trade compliance, and transportation management.
• Proven leadership of internal teams and external service providers.
• Strong partnership skills with buying, finance, and operations functions.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
