Transaction Services, Senior Associate - Financial Due Diligence

About the role

PwC's Transaction Services Senior Associate works in its Financial Due Diligence practice, supporting clients in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. The team provides buy-side and sell-side due diligence, analysing and validating financial, commercial, operational and strategic assumptions. The position follows the departure of a valued team member and offers training in AI and other digital tools.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in meetings with top-level management to gather information for due diligence and help drive in-depth financial analysis of client and target data.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of target companies, including industry and key business drivers.
• Prepare key transaction analyses such as quality of earnings, normalized net working capital and analysis of debt and debt-like items.
• Focus on buy-side financial due diligence and vendor assistance / sell-side due diligence and carve-outs.

Required profile

• Solid audit experience at Senior Associate level.
• Chartered Professional Accountant designation (or local equivalent) preferred.
• Proven technical and analytical capabilities, including financial and business performance analysis.
• Strong communication, presentation and report writing skills.
• Proven engagement team management and leadership skills.
