Training Coordinator (YUL)

About the role

The Training Coordinator supports station managers and the regional training manager in delivering and tracking all training activities at the YUL station. The role ensures compliance with regulatory, customer and company training requirements and maintains accurate records in the LMS.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to Station Managers and the Regional Training Manager on training matters.
• Assist in delivering and coordinating internal and external training sessions.
• Compile weekly training attendance reports and monthly compliance reports.
• Participate in training audits and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain up‑to‑date training matrices and LMS records for the station and airline.
• Schedule employee training before certifications expire and monitor compliance.
• Prepare and distribute required training reports and annual reviews.
• Attend safety, quality and incident investigation meetings to provide relevant training documentation.
• Ensure daily attendance records are entered and forwarded to management.

Required profile

• Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with at least five years of experience in airline/airport operations.
• Ability to obtain and retain Transport Canada Security Clearance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to work extended hours on short notice during non‑routine operations.
• Understanding of the broader airport operational environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience using a Learner Management System (Menzies LMS).
• Ability to generate and analyse training reports.
