Tour Guide – Historical & Sightseeing Tours

About the role

The Tour Guide will lead groups through historical sites, sightseeing locations and various tours across Canada and the United States. You will provide engaging commentary, ensure safety, and deliver exceptional customer service throughout the journey.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and develop commentaries for tours, describing points of interest and answering visitor questions.
• Drive sightseeing or tour vehicles and coordinate transportation and accommodation reservations.
• Collect administration or entrance fees and coordinate recreation activities.
• Assist clients with check‑in procedures, special needs, and luggage transfers.
• Attend to international border crossings and coordinate activities with local guides or performance groups.
• Provide information on tipping customs, currency exchange rates, metric conversion and other travel details.

Required skills

• First Aid Certificate.
• CPR Certificate.
• Valid driver’s licence.
