Territory Manager (14+ month contract) – North West Saskatchewan

About the role

BASF Agricultural Solutions is seeking a Territory Manager on a 14‑month contract to cover North West Saskatchewan, including Lloydminster, North Battleford and Meadow Lake. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with retail and grower customers and driving sales growth for our innovative agricultural portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Create and execute annual and strategic territory plans aligned with national and regional objectives.
• Develop account plans for strategic customers, outlining short‑ and long‑term actions.
• Generate demand with growers and retailers, ensuring alignment with account‑team activities and measuring satisfaction.
• Identify, negotiate, and close sales opportunities across the assigned geography.
• Leverage internal and external technical resources, partnering with Technical Services Representatives to educate customers on BASF innovations.
• Provide market intelligence to BASF Marketing and align broader teams on messaging and positioning.
• Participate in local and regional teams, mentoring colleagues and sharing best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or diploma) in agronomy, chemistry, biology, business, agribusiness or a related field.
• Minimum 1.5 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 3.5 years with an associate degree/diploma.
• Professional experience in sales or a technical background within an agricultural‑related field.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and a passion for contributing to sustainable agriculture.
