Terminal Manager - Rouyn-Noranda

About the role

The Manitoulin Group of Companies is looking for a Terminal Manager to run the day-to-day operations of the Rouyn-Noranda terminal and its surrounding service area. The role covers customer service and administrative duties, health and safety, facility and vehicle maintenance, and coordination of staff and schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Run the day-to-day operations of the Rouyn-Noranda terminal and service area, including customer service and administrative responsibilities
• Maintain health and safety standards and meet facility and vehicle maintenance requirements
• Optimize the use of equipment and personnel while meeting or exceeding service standards
• Monitor and control daily reports and coordinate work schedules to ensure proper staffing levels
• Work with Human Resources on recruitment, training, coaching and disciplinary matters
• Use a company truck

Required profile

• Management experience
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Problem-solving and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Ability to supervise and manage several tasks and/or employees at once
• Financial literacy, including completing cost analysis and cost reduction reports
• Strong work ethic, ability to multitask, and an energetic, competitive, career-oriented mindset
• Class 1 or Class A Z licence is an asset

Required skills

• Strong computer skills, including knowledge of AS/400
