Temporary Part-Time Educational Assistant – 18 hrs/week

About the role

This temporary, part‑time position supports classroom learning at Savanna School. Working 18 hours per week across three days, you will assist a certificated teacher in delivering a student‑focused, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide classroom assistance under the supervision of a certificated teacher.
• Support students with personal care and physical tasks as needed.
• Assist with classroom organization and student engagement activities.
• Be available to meet with students or staff outside regular school hours when required.
• Collaborate effectively with the teaching team.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Educational Assistant Diploma preferred).
• CPR/First Aid certification considered an asset.
• Experience working with children in a classroom or organized setting preferred.
• Ability and willingness to perform required physical tasks and assist with personal care.
• Availability to work outside of school hours as needed.
• Team‑oriented attitude.
