About the role
Associated Ambulance is seeking expressions of interest for a Temporary Full‑Time Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) to be based at the Barrhead Station. The role supports the delivery of mobile health‑care services to rural and urban communities across Alberta, aligning with the organization’s focus on patient, employee and quality safety. Orientation is scheduled for October 5‑9 2026, and all new hires are subject to a three‑month probationary period under the collective agreement.
Key responsibilities
- Work a rotating schedule of four days on‑site followed by four days off.
- Disclose any personal commitments that could affect the ability to meet the full‑time schedule during the expression of interest.
Required profile
- Valid PCP practice permit that meets Alberta EMS practice requirements.
- Current, valid Alberta Class 4 driver’s licence.
- All mandatory training up to date, including MCP and PDIC certifications.
- Successful completion of the F.A.R.E. program within the last six months.
