Technology Support Specialist

About the role

The Technology Support Specialist provides first- and second-level IT assistance to WWF-Canada staff and guests. Working from the Toronto head office in a hybrid model, you will troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues while ensuring smooth onboarding and off-boarding processes.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and resolve support tickets via email, chat and Zendesk, escalating complex cases as needed.
• Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 services (Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure and phone queues).
• Prepare, image, configure and inventory laptops and other equipment for staff and external visitors.
• Deliver IT orientation and training on core applications and systems.
• Monitor third-party portals, manage hardware roll-outs, and support office devices such as printers, AV equipment and Wi-Fi access points.
• Maintain IT asset records, process invoices and assist with procurement of hardware and software.
• Support security, stability and daily operations of the IT infrastructure and liaise with vendors.
• Update internal documentation, knowledge-base articles and follow ITIL incident and problem management procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a service-oriented IT support role.
• Proven ability to work in a team supporting Windows and Active Directory environments across multiple sites.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to manage competing priorities.
