Technology Lead - iOS Developer

About the role

Infosys is looking for a Technology Lead specializing in iOS development to join its Canadian delivery team. The role will work closely with stakeholders across the software development life‑cycle, from requirements gathering to design, implementation, testing and post‑deployment support.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners and architects to define application architecture and high‑level design.
• Write high‑quality, maintainable Swift and Objective‑C code for iOS applications.
• Lead validation activities across unit, integration, system and user‑acceptance testing.
• Publish and maintain applications on the Apple App Store.
• Provide ongoing support during implementation, transition and warranty phases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in iOS development.
• Authorized to work in Canada without employer‑sponsored visa.
• Willingness to be based in or relocate to Burnaby, BC or Calgary, AB.

Required skills

• iOS development using Swift and Objective‑C.
• Cocoa Touch, Core Data, Core Animation, memory management and concurrency.
• Experience with iOS back‑end services, push notifications, APIs and cloud messaging.
• Knowledge of Apple design principles and UI guidelines.
• Version control tools: Git, Mercurial, SVN.
• Familiarity with C‑based libraries and continuous integration pipelines.
