About the role

The Air Quality and Mold Technician will join a well‑established consultancy of 160 experts in industrial hygiene, occupational health and safety, building science and environmental services. You will work on diverse workplaces—including factories, government buildings and office towers—providing on‑site assessments and detailed reporting for both French‑ and English‑speaking clients.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct fungal contamination and indoor air quality assessments in commercial and institutional buildings.
• Perform water‑sampling for potable water and Legionella testing.
• Carry out air‑quality studies linked to certification programs such as BOMA BEST, LEED and WELL.
• Prepare comprehensive evaluation and intervention reports with actionable recommendations.
• Support project managers in the coordination and delivery of multiple mandates.

Required profile

• College or university diploma in environmental science, occupational hygiene, biology, chemistry or a related field.
• At least one year of experience in a similar position.
• Excellent written and spoken French; English proficiency is an asset.
• Strong analytical, observational and documentation skills.

Required skills

• Air quality assessment techniques.
• Fungal contamination analysis.

• Knowledge of LEED, WELL and BOMA BEST certification requirements.
• Professional report writing in French (and optionally English).
