About the role

Logistec is seeking an Operational Systems Technician to join its terminal in Sept‑Îles. Working outdoors in a maritime environment, you will support daily operations by monitoring, coordinating and maintaining the terminal’s operational systems.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate operational systems according to operational needs.
• Facilitate communication among all stakeholders to preserve system integrity and ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure reliability and stability of conveyor, transfer and charging systems.
• Respond quickly to unexpected or abnormal situations, analyze causes and intervene.
• Perform preventive maintenance, regular upkeep and troubleshooting of operational equipment.
• Observe health and safety principles at all times.
• Carry out any other related tasks as required.

Required profile

• College diploma or equivalent experience in large‑scale operational system control.
• Proven ability to use computer interfaces.
• Strong understanding of automation technologies and operational management of programmable equipment.
• Good mechanical and electrical knowledge of conveyors, transfer systems and chargers.
• Excellent French communication skills and functional English.
• Ability to read and apply information from operational manuals.
• Good physical condition for outdoor work and a valid Class 5 driver’s licence.
