Technician I – Security

About the role

As a Technician I – Security with Bosch Building Technologies, you will support the installation, maintenance, and repair of integrated security systems. Working alongside experienced technicians, you will gain hands‑on experience with low‑voltage access control, CCTV, and pre‑wiring projects.

Key responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test copper and fiber‑optic cables, connectors, and related components.
• Assist in installing and servicing electronic security systems, including pre‑wiring, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarm systems.
• Provide customer training and respond to technical inquiries.
• Build relationships with clients and prospects to generate future opportunities.
• Complete administrative duties such as project updates, documentation filing, and reporting to Project Managers.
• Work night shifts when required by project or service needs.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in a technical role within the integrated security industry.
• Proficiency in cable pulling, installation, and basic troubleshooting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with customers and team members.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing project requirements.

Required skills

• Cable pulling and termination (copper and fiber‑optic).
• Installation and testing of low‑voltage security components.
• Programming and commissioning of access control systems.
• Installation, configuration, and maintenance of CCTV systems.
