Technical Training Manager

About the role

The Technical Training Manager will lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of aircraft maintenance training programs for internal and external stakeholders. Reporting to the Person Responsible for Training, this role also serves as the primary technical liaison for front‑office customer support teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, write, review and revise training programs, including lesson plans, instructor notes, examinations and training aids.
• Deliver classroom, laboratory, hangar and flight‑line instruction using lectures, demonstrations and practical exercises.
• Teach from blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, inspection guides and flight manuals.
• Supervise student projects, conduct exam reviews and perform failure analysis.
• Coordinate course scheduling, student enrolment, certification issuance and attendance records.
• Act as the technical point of contact for front‑office Customer Support Representatives, filtering complex queries.
• Provide ongoing technical coaching and up‑skilling to front‑office staff.
• Review Service Bulletins, Alert Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Authority Directives and communicate impacts.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering aircraft maintenance training.
• Strong ability to interpret technical documentation such as blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Excellent communication skills for both classroom instruction and front‑office support.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on continuous improvement of training materials.
