Technical Sales Representative

About the role

Join Armstrong Fluid Technology’s global team as a Technical Sales Representative, based in Scarborough, Ontario. You will work with key accounts and channel partners to build a robust solution‑selling pipeline for fluid‑flow technology and energy‑upgrade projects.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end sales execution, meeting annual targets for bookings, shipments and margin.
• Prospect new customers each month, develop pipeline and accelerate acquisition.
• Engage multiple sales channels—including contractors, facility managers and energy‑optimization firms—to drive specifications and closed sales.
• Provide technical guidance, joint sales calls, training and bid support to channel partners and targeted accounts.
• Sell optimization and digital solutions such as Core, Advisor and Optimiser packages.
• Incorporate Armstrong Design Envelope solutions into bid documents to improve system efficiency and reduce lifecycle costs.
• Maintain accurate daily CRM reporting of activities, opportunities and metrics.

Required profile

• Fluency in English (French a plus).
• Bachelor’s or technical degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years experience in business development, sales or account management, preferably in the HVAC industry.
• Proven track record working with cross‑functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, distribution).
• Strong problem‑solving, conflict‑management and root‑cause analysis abilities.
• Self‑directed, results‑focused and able to work both autonomously and collaboratively.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems for daily activity tracking.
• Knowledge of Armstrong Design Envelope technology and related optimization packages (Core, Advisor, Optimiser).
• Understanding of HVAC industry solutions and energy‑upgrade opportunities.
