Main Missions

• Lead and coordinate daily operations within the Medicine/Surgery unit to ensure seamless patient flow and high-quality care.
• Collaborate closely with the Manager to optimize staffing levels, skill distribution, and clinical delegation.
• Facilitate multidisciplinary communication between physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff.
• Drive clinical excellence by implementing evidence-based practices and participating in hospital-wide initiatives like Bedside Shift Reporting.
• Provide mentorship and clinical coaching to both novice and experienced nursing staff.
• Manage unit risks, lead daily huddles, and act as a primary controller during emergency codes.
• Monitor clinical data and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and experience.

Profile Required

• Registered Nurse (RN) with significant clinical experience in Medicine/Surgery environments.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a clinical setting.
• Strong ability to manage complex patient flows and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients, families, and medical partners.
• Commitment to patient safety and evidence-based nursing practices.
