Team Lead – Commercial Support

About the role

The Team Lead, Commercial Support will guide the onboarding of new commercial clients and maintain existing commercial portfolios for National Bank. You will work closely with Account Managers and internal partners to ensure compliance, operational efficiency, and a seamless client experience while developing your team.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise end‑to‑end onboarding of commercial clients and ongoing portfolio maintenance.
• Coordinate daily operational activities to meet compliance standards, service levels, and deadlines.
• Coach, train, and provide feedback to team members to improve operational effectiveness and customer service.
• Monitor loan and account onboarding processes, identify improvement opportunities, and support process enhancements.
• Collaborate with internal partners to streamline workflows and boost operational efficiency.
• Organise training sessions, information‑sharing activities, and team initiatives while supporting the Senior Manager in achieving objectives.

Required profile

• University certificate with 5 years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 3 years of experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Experience in commercial banking operations, client onboarding, or portfolio administration.
• Knowledge of commercial banking products, lending processes, and operational compliance requirements.
• Proven experience leading or supporting employee development within a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
