Teaching Assistant – Legal, Ethical, and Professional Practice Issues (Fall 2026)

About the role

The Ingram School of Nursing at McGill University seeks a graduate Teaching Assistant for the Fall 2026 course NUR1 424-001, focusing on legal, ethical, and professional practice issues. The TA will support course coordinators in delivering content to nursing students and will be a key point of contact for student inquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Review and prepare course materials related to health‑care ethics and professional practice.
• Lead in‑person workshops on three scheduled dates (Sept 25, Oct 30, Nov 20, 2026).
• Assist with student evaluation, grading workshop reports, and maintaining course records.
• Hold office hours and respond to student questions.
• Collaborate with the course coordinator to implement the course plan.

Required profile

• Current Master’s or Doctoral student at McGill University.
• Background in nursing, bioethics, or related health‑care fields.
• Eligibility to work in Canada.
• Strong communication skills; bilingual French/English is an asset.

Required skills
