About the role
The Desautels Faculty of Management is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support the Information Technology Management (MGCR 331) and E‑Business (INSY 440) courses for the Fall 2026 term. This part‑time role involves assisting the instructor with course preparation, student interaction, and assessment activities.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and organize course materials and resources.
- Attend scheduled class sessions and assist the instructor as needed.
- Hold regular office hours to advise and consult with students.
- Grade assignments, provide feedback, and supervise any additional graders.
Required profile
- Previously earned an A grade in the respective course (MGCR 331 or INSY 440).
- Authorized to work in Canada and willing to work on the McGill campus in Quebec.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

What we offer
- Hourly compensation of $37.34 CAD.
- Fixed‑term appointment from 30 August 2026 to 12 December 2026 (57 hours total).
