Tax Specialist – Multi‑Jurisdictional Tax Compliance

About the role

We are seeking a Tax Specialist to lead multi‑jurisdictional tax compliance for subsidiaries across the US, Canada, Singapore, the UK and EU. You will ensure accurate corporate income tax, indirect tax and transfer‑pricing filings while identifying opportunities for tax incentives and credits.

Key responsibilities

• Manage annual corporate income tax filings for all subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee indirect tax obligations (US Sales & Use Tax, Canadian GST/HST, UK VAT, EU VAT/OSS) and coordinate with external advisors.
• Maintain company registrations, annual returns and statutory filings in each jurisdiction.
• Coordinate year‑end statutory audits with local auditors.
• Serve as primary liaison with tax authorities (IRS, CRA, IRAS, HMRC, EU tax administrations) and handle audit defense.
• Design, implement and maintain a global transfer‑pricing policy, preparing OECD‑compliant Master File, Local Files and Country‑by‑Country Report.
• Research and manage applications for government incentives and tax credits such as Canada SR&ED, US R&D credits, UK R&D Relief and Singapore EDG schemes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or a related field.
• CPA Canada In‑depth Tax Course or Master of Taxation strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of tax experience, including at least 3 years at a public accounting or tax advisory firm.
• Full professional proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken).
