Tax Specialist – Corporate & Indirect Tax (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a Tax Specialist to provide expert Canadian tax guidance, ensure compliance, and partner with stakeholders across a major resource project. You will join a collaborative, high‑performing team in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Navigate complex Canadian corporate tax matters.
• Prepare corporate income tax, royalty, and indirect tax filings.
• Research tax legislation and deliver practical business advice.
• Support IFRS tax reporting and financial disclosures.
• Partner with internal teams and external advisors.
• Improve processes and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA designation (CPA In‑Depth Tax) or Master’s of Tax (asset).
• Experience in public accounting and/or industry.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian corporate tax and IFRS tax accounting.
• ERP experience, preferably SAP.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
• Mining or international tax experience is a plus.
