Talent Acquisition Advisor – 12‑Month Contract (Bilingual)

About the role

CN is seeking a proactive Talent Acquisition Advisor on a 12‑month contract to support its North American recruitment needs. The role will manage the full hiring lifecycle, ensuring a positive candidate experience while helping CN build a diverse workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for North American requisitions, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing and offer management.
• Develop deep understanding of talent needs across various teams and provide market insights to hiring managers.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for complex searches using database mining, direct sourcing, vendor partnerships and referrals.
• Conduct initial candidate conversations, evaluate qualifications and recommend next steps.
• Ensure data integrity in CN’s internal ATS and compliance with corporate policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and HR teams to share best practices and act as an ambassador for the function.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of full‑cycle recruiting experience.
• Bilingual proficiency (English and French preferred).
• Strong organizational skills with ability to meet tight deadlines and manage pressure.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.

Required skills

• Applicant Tracking System (ATS) proficiency.
