Systems Integration Engineer – Software

About the role

iSteer Inc. is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer – Software to lead the design, development, and integration of computer‑based systems for its clients. The role involves full‑lifecycle software development, testing, and coordination of multidisciplinary teams in a fast‑paced consulting environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and document user requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Plan, develop, install, integrate, and operate software solutions and computer‑based systems.
• Create flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify and optimize system architectures.
• Develop process and network models, evaluate performance, and ensure reliability of designs.
• Execute full‑lifecycle software development, including testing, security, and quality controls.
• Lead and coordinate teams of information‑systems professionals on software and embedded control system projects.
• Upgrade, maintain, and support existing software applications.

Required profile

• College, CEGEP or equivalent non‑university certificate (1‑2 years) or comparable experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in systems integration and software development.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, client‑focused and organized.
