Systems Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Systems Administrator to ensure the reliability of our IT infrastructure that supports drug discovery, development and business operations. The role spans cloud (AWS) and on‑prem environments and works closely with engineering and scientific teams to keep critical systems running.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and support a hybrid infrastructure that includes AWS cloud services and on‑prem data centers.
• Support engineering platforms, tools and applications used by developers and scientists.
• Troubleshoot issues across systems, networking, identity and access, applying judgment to novel problems.
• Partner with engineering and scientific teams to integrate corporate IT, laboratory instruments and in‑house platforms.
• Automate routine operational tasks, improve system availability and efficiency.
• Own patching, monitoring and documentation practices for managed systems.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience operating production infrastructure in cloud and on‑prem environments (or 3+ years with a Master’s degree).
• Strong judgment for handling unusual problems and ability to escalate or adapt solutions.
• Curiosity about end‑to‑end system operation and the scientific domain it supports.
• Clear communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Experience working in regulated environments such as GxP or SOC2 is a plus.
