Supply Chain Supervisor – Manufacturing

About the role

Red Rover Recruitment is partnering with a leading North American manufacturer in the built‑environment sector to find a Supply Chain Supervisor. This hands‑on leadership role oversees purchasing, planning, inventory and overall supply‑chain coordination within a highly integrated manufacturing operation. The successful candidate will balance forecasting, supplier performance and production requirements while driving MRP and ERP processes to support operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead purchasing, planning, inventory and supply‑chain coordination activities.
• Support production schedules through effective material planning and inventory management.
• Balance forecasting, inventory targets, supplier performance and manufacturing requirements.
• Drive MRP and ERP planning processes to enhance operational performance.
• Develop reporting, KPI tracking and operational insights using ERP systems and Excel.
• Improve planning effectiveness, inventory performance and supply‑chain execution.
• Partner closely with manufacturing, operations, procurement and leadership teams.

Required profile

• 10+ years of manufacturing supply‑chain experience.
• 5+ years of experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in production planning, inventory management, forecasting and supplier management.
• Proven ability to support manufacturing operations and drive continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel capabilities (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, complex formulas, reporting and dashboards).
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems (AS400, Oracle, Epicor, Microsoft Dynamics, CMS or similar).
• Proficiency in production planning and inventory management tools.
• Strong analytical and data‑driven decision‑making skills.
