Supply Chain Manager

About the role

Rah-Firdaus Foods & Fashions Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead purchasing, procurement and logistics for its food and fashion product lines. The role involves overseeing supplier relationships, ensuring food safety compliance and managing day‑to‑day operations in a fast‑paced urban environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures.
• Evaluate cost and quality of goods and services and authorise product specifications.
• Review and process supplier claims and prepare regular performance reports.
• Operate computerized inventory and re‑ordering systems, including SAP modules.
• Supervise a small team (1‑2 staff) and manage a budget up to CAD 100,000.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in procurement or supply chain.
• 2–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement or contracts within a retail/wholesale environment.
• Willingness to relocate and work in an urban African‑focused setting.
• Ability to supervise staff and manage a modest budget.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook and MS Word.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP (FI/CO, HR, MM, OT, SD) modules.
• Food safety and handling knowledge.
