Supply Chain Coordinator – Order Management (Temp)

About the role

The Customer Service Representative will manage the full lifecycle of customer orders for a medical manufacturing client, ensuring accurate entry, coordination with production, QA, logistics, and timely communication with customers. This is a 9‑month temporary position based onsite in Markham, with potential for extension or conversion.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and validate customer orders in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards) and confirm product availability, batch release status, and lead times.
• Coordinate with production planning, warehousing, logistics, and QA to ensure on‑time fulfillment and prepare required documentation (COAs, packing lists, invoices, SDS, customs documents).
• Track shipments, proactively communicate delays, and serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries, order status updates, and issue resolution.
• Maintain compliance with GMP, GDP, ISO standards and internal SOPs; keep audit‑ready records in ERP and CRM systems.
• Collaborate with Production Planning, QA/QC, Regulatory Affairs, Logistics, and Finance, and participate in S&OP discussions.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education in business administration or a related field.
• 2–5 years of customer service or order management experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated manufacturing.
• At least 1 year of end‑to‑end order processing experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or JD Edwards.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Salesforce.
• Advanced Excel skills.
