Supply Chain Automation Intern

About the role

Join Bosch Rexroth in Welland as a Supply Chain Automation Intern where you will support the procurement and material planning teams by automating manual processes. You will work on real‑world projects that improve vendor communication, order management and stock monitoring, gaining hands‑on experience with cutting‑edge automation tools.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze backlog reports and proactively contact vendors to accelerate product procurement.
• Maintain expedite communication channels and provide responses within 24‑48 hours.
• Enter, confirm, and manage purchase orders in the system.
• Execute material planning processes and monitor stock levels.
• Identify bottlenecks in daily operations and propose improvements.
• Design, prototype, and build automated workflows to streamline order management and vendor communications.

Required profile

• Graduate (within the last 6 months) or currently enrolled in a diploma/degree program in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Management Information Systems or a related field.
• Strong interest in business process automation and an analytical mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for transforming manual workflows into scalable solutions.
