About the role
We are looking for a Summer Research Associate to join our Agricultural Solutions Team in Coalhurst, AB. You will support the research program and help develop agricultural solutions for Canadian growers while gaining hands‑on experience in field research.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and execute small‑plot field experiments, including seeding, spraying, monitoring, harvesting and data summarisation.
- Identify pests and evaluate crop performance using trial methodology.
- Operate and maintain small‑plot equipment safely.
- Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment on the research farm.
Required profile
- Currently enrolled in an agriculture‑related degree or diploma program (e.g., agronomy, soil science, environmental science).
- Strong enthusiasm for field research and the agricultural industry.
- Demonstrated leadership and academic achievement.
- Ability to lift up to 25 kg and hold a valid Full Class 5 driver’s licence.
