About the role
We are seeking a Summer Research Associate to support our Agricultural Solutions team at the BASF Manitoba Research Farm. The role involves hands‑on field work and data collection to develop crop protection solutions for Canadian growers.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and prepare field experiments, including seeding and spraying.
- Collect and evaluate data on crop performance and treatment efficacy.
- Maintain equipment and prepare the site for tours and demonstrations.
- Assist with diverse crop protection research across fungicides, herbicides, seed treatments, insecticides and biologicals.
Required profile
- Currently enrolled in an agriculture‑related degree or diploma program.
- Strong enthusiasm for field research and the agricultural industry.
- Demonstrated leadership and academic achievement.
- Valid driver’s licence; knowledge of farm equipment is an asset.
Required skills
- Experience with fungicides.
- Experience with herbicides.
- Experience with seed treatments.
- Experience with insecticides.
- Experience with biological crop protection products.
