Study Coordinator – ENHANCE Stroke Research

About the role

The ENHANCE Study Coordinator will support the Okanagan Stroke Research Lab at UBC’s Centre for Chronic Disease Prevention and Management. The role involves coordinating participant recruitment, study operations, and data collection for a longitudinal study of stroke survivors over a 12‑month period.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, interview and assess patients for the ENHANCE stroke rehabilitation study.
• Assemble and distribute study packages, manage data entry in RedCap and audit data completeness.
• Serve as primary contact for study sites, coordinate communications and schedule participant follow‑ups.
• Perform literature searches, extract data, maintain databases and assist in report and grant writing.
• Support the administration of the OK Stroke Research Lab, including meeting organization and travel arrangements.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in a health‑related discipline or equivalent technical training.
• Experience or strong interest in research with seniors or individuals with chronic conditions.
• Excellent organizational, written and communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel to Kelowna General Hospital and handle study package logistics.

Required skills
