Stucco Plasterer – Full-time Permanent Position

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Stucco Plasterer to join our team in Edmonton on a permanent, full-time basis. You will work on both interior and exterior projects, ensuring high-quality plaster finishes.

Key responsibilities

• Apply, level and smooth coats of plaster on various surfaces.
• Clean and prepare surfaces, and cure freshly plastered areas.
• Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks using joint compound with a trowel and broad knife.
• Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat when required.
• Mix plaster ingredients to achieve the desired consistency.
• Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices and trim.
• Trowel or spray stucco coats on building exteriors to create weather-proof surfaces.
• Work at heights using scaffolding or swing stages.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1 to less than 7 months of plastering experience.
• Ability to bend, crouch, kneel and stand for extended periods.
• Capability to handle heavy loads and perform physically demanding, repetitive tasks.
