Strategic Supply Chain Manager

About the role

This position offers an experienced supply chain professional the chance to lead strategic materials and procurement initiatives across a complex North‑American manufacturing network. You will serve as the primary supply chain advocate for assigned customer accounts, driving efficiency, inventory optimization, and long‑term sourcing strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute end‑to‑end supply chain strategies aligned with customer requirements and operational goals.
• Act as the main liaison for assigned customer accounts across multiple manufacturing facilities.
• Drive initiatives to improve inventory turnover, asset velocity, and material flow while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
• Collaborate with procurement and global commodity teams to support strategic sourcing and cost‑reduction projects.
• Aggregate and analyze supply chain data to inform sourcing decisions and operational performance.
• Support new product introductions with material planning, pricing strategies, and supply chain readiness.
• Partner with quotation and product costing teams to ensure competitive pricing and supply chain alignment.
• Lead material‑related negotiations, including repricing and customer‑controlled pricing discussions.
• Build strong relationships with finance, manufacturing, procurement, and customer account teams.
• Ensure compliance with ethical, legal, and corporate supply chain standards.

Required profile

• Strategic and analytical supply chain professional with extensive experience managing complex customer relationships.
• Proven track record in manufacturing environments and cross‑functional leadership.
• Strong data‑driven decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑management skills.
