Strategic Sourcing Manager – Technology Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager specializing in Technology Infrastructure to lead sourcing initiatives for hardware, software, telecom and related services. Based in Toronto, the role will partner with business stakeholders to design sourcing strategies that reduce cost, mitigate risk and drive supplier innovation within a financial services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute category management and strategic sourcing plans for technology infrastructure.
• Lead end‑to‑end sourcing events including RFI, RFP, negotiations, contract renewals and supplier selection.
• Manage supplier relationships, conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with procurement policies.
• Analyse spend data, market trends and cost models to provide actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align sourcing activities with business priorities.
• Support procurement transformation, process improvements and change‑management initiatives.

Required profile

• 5–7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement or vendor management.
• Proven expertise in technology infrastructure sourcing (hardware, software, telecom, support services).
• Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries is preferred.
• Strong negotiation, contract management and supplier risk management capabilities.
• Advanced analytical abilities and excellent communication skills.

• Advanced Excel for spend analysis and cost modeling.
