Strategic Partnerships Manager

About the role

The Manager, Strategic Partnerships & Market Development will drive cross‑business opportunities that link HCE’s telecom and energy services with municipalities, institutions, developers and other public‑sector stakeholders. You will strengthen HCE’s reputation as a trusted community infrastructure partner while supporting sustainability‑focused initiatives across Ontario.

Key responsibilities

• Manage strategic enterprise accounts, deepen executive relationships and identify cross‑business opportunities.
• Coordinate integrated solutions between Energy and Telecom lines for shared clients and initiatives.
• Facilitate internal collaboration, share market intelligence and align efforts on strategic opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with municipalities, community groups, environmental organisations and other local stakeholders.
• Lead outreach activities, participate in community forums and promote HCE’s sustainability agenda.
• Prospect and cultivate relationships with government agencies, funding bodies, developers and industry associations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic partnership development and account management.
• Demonstrated ability to work across business units and coordinate integrated initiatives.
• Strong background in government relations, public‑sector engagement and community outreach.
• Commitment to sustainability, decarbonisation and resilient infrastructure goals.
