Strategic Account Executive – Life Sciences

About the role

As a Strategic Account Executive focusing on Life Sciences at Anthropic, you will introduce the company’s frontier AI platform to leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology and research organisations. You will be responsible for securing enterprise‑scale deals, helping customers embed safe AI into R&D, clinical development and commercial workflows, and driving revenue growth while advancing responsible AI.

Key responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of strategic, high‑value accounts across pharma, biotech and research, meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
• Engage directly with C‑level and senior technical leaders (CIOs, CTOs, Heads of R&D, Heads of Data/AI) to build business cases, navigate procurement, security, regulatory and legal reviews, and drive deployments.
• Identify and prioritise high‑potential opportunities, develop and execute account plans that convert relationships into committed revenue.
• Maintain a disciplined pipeline and forecasting cadence with accurate deal inspection and predictable execution.
• Collaborate with Applied AI, Solutions Architecture and Product teams to design solutions, demonstrate quick value, and feed life‑sciences‑specific needs into product roadmaps.
• Document winning use cases, proof points and reference stories, partnering with Marketing and Enablement to scale them.
• Orchestrate cross‑functional efforts with Customer Success, Legal, Partnerships and cloud partners to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling technology or AI solutions to life‑sciences organisations.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with senior technical and executive stakeholders in highly regulated industries.
• Track record of achieving or surpassing enterprise‑level revenue targets.
• Comfort operating in complex procurement, security, regulatory and legal environments.
