Store Operations & Talent Manager

About the role

As the Store Operations and Talent Manager at Sephora Canada, you will lead the people and operational functions of the Liberty Village store. You will be responsible for staffing, training, scheduling and ensuring the store consistently meets Sephora’s operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct final interviews for all key positions and use the online applicant tracking system to source, select and hire candidates.
• Develop and execute the store’s ongoing training strategy in partnership with the Store Director and Education partners.
• Oversee weekly schedule creation, approve time‑off requests and manage the store’s payroll process in line with company guidelines.
• Write and deliver annual performance reviews for direct reports and oversee performance management for the entire store.
• Ensure operational excellence by managing inventory, shipping, receiving, returns, tester and supply control, and cycle counts.
• Monitor sales performance, staffing, payroll and other controllable expenses, acting as the store’s operational expert.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of management experience in beauty, retail or customer‑service environments.
• Proven experience recruiting, staffing and hiring across all store positions, including leadership roles.
• Demonstrated ability to build high‑performing teams and drive operational results.
