Store Manager – Retail (Quebec City)

About the role

The Store Manager leads the Place Laurier location, delivering an exceptional omni‑channel customer experience, driving sales, and ensuring operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and mentor the team to meet service model standards and deliver consistent customer service.
• Oversee visual compliance, store maintenance, pricing accuracy, and weekly promotional set‑ups.
• Manage inventory control, annual shrink targets, and preparation for yearly inventories.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies on loss prevention, cash handling, audit, and health & safety.
• Create efficient weekly schedules for sales and support functions.
• Lead recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and develop succession plans through continuous training.
• Promote brand culture, motivate staff through recognition programs, and handle progressive discipline.
• Support customer acquisition by promoting loyalty and credit card programs.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of retail experience with proven ability to coach, mentor and develop teams.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, able to build and manage daily and weekly plans.
• High energy, enthusiasm and a drive to achieve sales and operational goals.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences and resolve concerns.
