Store Manager – Retail Leadership Role

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Store Manager to lead our Hot Topic location in Lethbridge. You will be responsible for driving sales, shaping the customer experience, and developing a passionate team that embodies pop‑culture enthusiasm.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets and comp sales goals while monitoring shrink, payroll, and scheduling.
• Recruit, train, mentor and retain a collaborative team, fostering a culture of engagement and performance.
• Drive customer engagement through social media, store web applications, and clienteling initiatives.
• Maintain operational excellence by balancing structure, delegation, and customer‑first selling practices.
• Analyze sales reports and data to adjust strategies and meet performance objectives.
• Oversee merchandising, planogram compliance, and timely execution of promotions.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of retail store management experience with a proven record of meeting sales goals.
• Strong communication, recruiting, and operational skills (payroll, reporting, scheduling, merchandising).
• High school diploma or GED; post‑secondary education is a plus.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast‑changing retail environment.
• Interest in pop‑culture, music, and fandom trends.
• Physical ability to handle merchandise up to 50 lb.
