Store Associate – Retail Team Member

About the role

As a Store Associate at Canadian Tire in Saint John, you will be the front‑line face of the store, delivering friendly and courteous service while helping keep the shop organized and inviting for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Greet, assist and thank customers in person and over the phone.
• Recommend related products so customers leave with everything they need.
• Stock shelves, face merchandise, label items and maintain a clean sales floor.
• Perform inventory checks and hole checks to ensure accuracy.
• Follow health and safety regulations and store policies.

Required profile

• No prior experience required – full training provided.
• Flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Physically able to stand, walk and lift items for up to 8 hours.
• Approachable, solution‑oriented and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Ability to operate a cash register.
• Basic computer proficiency for point‑of‑sale systems.
