About the role
Core Drywall Ltd. is seeking a skilled Steel Stud Framer to join its carpentry team in Calgary. This permanent, full‑time position involves framing work using steel studs and other materials.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare estimates of labour and material costs.
- Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood, lightweight steel and related materials.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 2 years of relevant framing experience.
Required skills
- Blueprint reading.
- Material measurement and cutting.
- Assembly of steel and wood components.
