Statistical Analyst & Database Manager

About the role

The Statistical Analyst & Database Manager will support the Division of Nephrology and the Multi‑Organ Transplant Program by performing statistical analyses and overseeing database systems for a range of research studies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct statistical analyses for single‑center and multi‑center studies on organ transplantation, chronic kidney disease, mental health screening, adherence and quality of life.
• Consult with researchers on study design and the application of appropriate statistical methods.
• Maintain and develop the transplant registry and related database platforms.
• Integrate large, varied data sources and generate data extracts for analysis.
• Liaise with project team members, assist with sample tracking systems, and contribute to statistical method plans.

Required profile

• Experience conducting statistical analyses for health‑related research.
• Proven ability to manage and develop research databases.
• Strong collaborative skills to work with nephrologists, research staff, graduate students and external partners.
• Ability to communicate statistical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
