Staff Pharmacist

About the role

Mint Health + Drugs, in partnership with I.D.A. Pharmacy, is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist for its Cordova Bay location in Victoria, BC. You will join a pharmacist‑led team focused on delivering compassionate, patient‑first care within the community.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments, manage chronic and acute medication therapy, and provide comprehensive patient counseling.
• Administer injections and vaccines, adapt and renew prescriptions, and optimise drug therapies.
• Oversee accurate preparation, packaging, labeling, and dispensing of medications while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with local physicians, clinics, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions of care.
• Serve as a trusted drug information resource for patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BScPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
• Active Pharmacist licence (or immediate eligibility) with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
• Valid certification to administer injections in British Columbia.
• Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Search.
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with pharmacy software (Kroll preferred).
• Experience using electronic health records.
