Staff Nurse – Hospital at Home Team

About the role

The Hospital at Home Team in Fife provides acute medical care to frail elderly patients in their own homes, preventing unnecessary hospital admissions and supporting early discharge. We are seeking a motivated Staff Nurse to join our established team in Cupar, delivering high‑quality acute care in a community setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective acute medical care to patients in their homes.
• Perform daily clinical interventions such as medication administration, monitoring, and urgent care response.
• Travel across the service area to meet patient needs promptly.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and support cross‑team working as required.
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to NHS clinical standards.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with relevant experience in acute or community care.
• Ability to work autonomously and make clinical decisions.
• Strong communication skills and a flexible attitude to shift work.
• Willingness to travel within the Cupar area and respond to urgent situations.
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom and willingness to join the PVG Scheme.
