Staff Engineer – AI & Engineering

About the role

We are seeking a Staff Engineer who will bridge deep software engineering expertise with practical AI implementation. The role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, data and technology, driving modern, resilient, and intelligent solutions for the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and ship AI‑powered applications, backend services, APIs and orchestration layers, taking ownership from prototype to production.
• Translate business use cases into scalable system designs, balancing delivery speed, reliability, cost and operational efficiency.
• Integrate large language model capabilities into products and internal tools, building reusable services, API‑first integrations and agent workflows.
• Partner with stakeholders to validate solutions, iterate quickly and deliver measurable impact.
• Contribute to shared libraries, templates and engineering standards while ensuring AI implementations meet security, privacy and compliance requirements.

Required profile

• 8+ years of software engineering experience delivering production‑grade applications and platforms.
• Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives and influence architecture across multiple teams.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience building and deploying Generative AI solutions in production.
• Strong judgment in system design, making trade‑offs between speed, scalability and simplicity.

Required skills

• Microsoft Azure cloud ecosystem.
• API‑first and event‑driven architecture.
• Backend service development and API design.
• AI orchestration, agent‑based workflows and prompt engineering.
• Experience with enterprise‑approved LLMs such as Claude.
