About the role
The Specialist Physician will join the staff at SickKids, a leading pediatric hospital in Toronto. This full‑time, permanent position involves delivering specialist medical care within a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide specialist clinical services to patients in a hospital setting.
- Operate under tight deadlines and manage a physically demanding workload.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety and infection‑control protocols.
Required profile
- Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry.
- Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification and provincial licensure.
- Minimum five years of relevant professional experience.
- Eligibility for professional liability insurance and successful criminal record, medical and immunisation checks.
- Demonstrated accuracy, dependability, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a team.
